- Inspection Levels and Re-InspectionTiered inspections and re-inspections share one form-number series, so you can see the current level and who needs to act
Problems & solutions
Forms are filled out on paper on site and entered again at the office, which adds transcription errors
Check items, take photos, and sign on a phone or tablet; submitting produces the PDF
No retyping at the office; inspect and hand over the PDF the same day
After a failure, everyone gives a different answer about the re-inspection or what level it has escalated to
Levels 1 to 3 share a form-number series, and re-inspections automatically pull in the previous result
See instantly which level it's at and who it's waiting on; a level can't be started until the previous one passes
Each type of work has a different inspection form, and adding a column means asking a developer to change the code
Managers set items, criteria, diagrams, signature fields, and layout right on screen
Managers edit and use forms themselves, with no waiting for a developer to schedule an update
When the owner asks for evidence, photos must be pasted in and documents scanned, and the official version is hard to identify
Photos and signatures are tied to the same form, a whiteboard can be applied, and submitting generates the official PDF
Scan the QR code to verify the official version without logging in, and whiteboard photos can be verified against the originals
Features
Design your own inspection forms
Configure categories and items, inspection criteria and diagrams, quantities or amounts, custom fields and signature fields, and portrait or landscape layout, and route forms by responsible party.
Item-by-item entry on site
Mark each item pass, fail, or N/A and add a note. Enter location as a range of building, floor, zone, and gridline.
Photos and attachments
Each item has its own photos: use the camera directly, add multiple photos, add notes, and reorder them. The whole form can also carry attached documents.
Digital whiteboard
Set up a whiteboard template in the inspection form: fields can pull in the project name, inspection location, item, content, people, and date, or hold fixed text. Position, size, and background color are adjustable, and the date can use the ROC calendar or the Gregorian calendar. After taking a photo, preview it, drag the whiteboard into position, and choose whether to add it to the photo.
Photo authenticity check
Photos taken with the whiteboard applied contain an anti-forgery code. Upload the inspection form PDF generated by the system, and each photo is checked against the original the system stored, showing the project, inspection form, and time. Photos chosen from the gallery, or taken without a whiteboard, can't be verified.
Four inspection types
Full inspection, spot check, inspection round, and penalty notice. A penalty notice lists only failed items and adds up the total amount.
Signature and submission checks
Pull in a saved signature set up under "My Account" (the signer enters their own IPCS password) or sign by hand on screen, and include subcontractor representatives and other outside parties. A form can't be submitted if it's incomplete, unsigned, or the previous level hasn't passed, and the system explains why.
Tiered inspection and re-inspection
Level 1, level 2, and level 3 share one form-number series. A re-inspection automatically pulls in the previous form's results, photos, and attachments.
Unlock trail
Unlocking a submitted form requires a reason, every unlock is logged, and a form that has been unlocked can't be deleted.
Official PDF with a QR code
Scan the QR code to open the official version stored in the system, no login required. Drafts can only be printed as watermarked previews.
Search and export
Search by form number, inspection form, type, date, people involved, attachment file name, and classification code, and export to Excel item by item.
vs. traditional methods
Photos, signatures, and the form number are linked to the same form from creation, so the records don't end up scattered among different people
Managers maintain inspection forms on screen themselves, and adding or editing fields doesn't require code changes
Final on submission; unlocking requires a reason and is logged, and a form that has been unlocked can't be deleted
Names and titles are saved as of signing, so later staff changes don't affect old forms
Who it's for
Site managers and site engineers
Complete inspections right on site.
Supervision consultants and QC staff
Issue defect notices, track re-inspections, and keep photos and signatures.
Project managers
See which inspections are still failing and which level they're stuck at.
Teams that answer to owners and auditors
Hand over an official PDF that can be verified by scanning its QR code.
