IPCS Smart BIM

Do I need to install anything to use IPCS Smart BIM?
No. Open models in the browser on a computer, tablet, or phone.
How much data does IPCS Smart BIM download to open a large model?
  • The platform first loads only the data needed to view the whole building, then loads more detail as you zoom in
  • In testing, a high-rise building with about 60,000 elements (architecture plus 6 MEP systems) was about 350 MB after conversion, and a whole-building view required only about 10 MB of downloads
  • Reopening on the same computer requires almost no additional data download
  • Load times depend on your network and computer
Can I try IPCS Smart BIM first?

  • When the trial opens, you can start a 1-month free trial without a credit card
  • You can upload your own IFC models (up to 200MB per file, 1 project)
Is there an extra charge for IFC model conversion?
No. IFC model processing is included in every subscription plan, with no charge by model size or per conversion.
Is there an extra charge for model updates?
No. You can keep updating your models, and saved version history counts toward your cloud storage.
How are viewers counted? Are there limits?
  • Viewing without LoginThere is no viewer limit. Viewers do not need an IPCS account and do not count toward your management/collaboration accounts
  • Monthly Share LinksPlan S allows 20 links per month, Plan A 50, and Plan B 150. One link shared with many people counts as 1; a separate link for each of 5 people counts as 5
  • ExpirationEach link lasts up to 90 days and can be revoked at any time; issue a new one after it expires. Set a link to always show the latest version, so a model revision does not require sharing again
  • Fair UseUse share links only with people involved in the project; do not post them publicly. A link may be restricted if its number of opens clearly exceeds normal use (Terms of Use, Article 6)
Do I have to upgrade if I run out of storage?
No. You can add extra storage on its own, or upgrade your plan if you also need more accounts.
Can I use the platform as general cloud storage?
No. The platform is built for BIM and construction project management, and supports only BIM models, drawings, equipment records, schedules, construction records, and related project documents.
Which BIM software is supported?
Any BIM software that can export a compatible IFC file can bring models into the platform, including Revit, Tekla, Rhino, and ArchiCAD.

How does IPCS Smart Construction Site pricing work?
  • Annual contracts are billed by account count; choose a plan based on the accounts enabled at any one time
  • Plans start at Small Team S: 10 accounts for NT$12,600 per month (tax included), or NT$151,200 per year
  • Listed plans extend to Enterprise Flagship B (100 accounts); larger deployments are negotiated separately
  • Contracts have a 12-month minimum and are billed annually or quarterly; the annual total is the same
What is the minimum number of accounts, and how are accounts counted?
  • Paid plans start at 10 accounts; pricing for more than 100 accounts is negotiated separately
  • Only accounts enabled at any one time count; disabled or deleted accounts do not count
  • When a worker leaves the site, disable the account to free the seat for a new team member
  • Each account is for one person only
Can I try IPCS Smart Construction Site first?
  • Yes. The Trial plan is free for one month and includes 5 accounts and 1GB of cloud storage
  • Each company may apply once, and the trial does not convert to a paid plan automatically when it ends

Is there a limit on projects or modules?
Paid plans have unlimited projects, and all standard site modules are included.
Are access control units and face recognition devices included?
  • No. Your equipment vendor supplies and maintains the devices
  • IPCS receives entry and exit records only, not facial feature data
What if I run out of storage?
Add storage in tiers, starting at +100GB for NT$525 per month (tax included). There is no need to upgrade your plan to get more space.
What happens to my data after the contract ends?
You can download your data yourself before the contract ends. For 30 days after termination, you can still retrieve it through the method we provide; after that, it is deleted.
Can IPCS Smart Construction Site and IPCS Smart BIM be used together?
  • Yes. They are priced separately, each with its own account allowance and storage
  • One person can use both products with the same login
  • When you open a BIM model from IPCS, you can send model annotations directly to Task Tracking as assigned tasks
